KAUNAS

For me, Kaunas begins early, before the city gathers pace. There are fewer people along the Nemunas, the air is cooler, and the first morning light is only beginning to touch the water. That is the Kaunas I wanted to preserve in this scent: calm, fresh and familiar. Not the city centre or its architecture, but that brief moment by the river that feels like Kaunas to me.
