Candle Care Instructions

To get the most from your Nida Journey candle and ensure a safe, beautiful burn every time, please follow these simple care guidelines.

First Burn

Allow your candle to burn until the entire surface has melted to the edges on the first use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle. This may take 2–3 hours depending on the size.

Trim the Wick

Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm. This helps control the flame height, reduces soot, and extends the life of your candle.

Burn Time

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool and solidify completely before relighting.

Safety

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
• Always burn on a heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from draughts and direct sunlight.
• Stop burning when 1cm of wax remains.

After Use

Once your candle has finished, clean the vessel with warm soapy water and repurpose it. Our vessels are designed to be kept and loved long after the candle is gone.
